CTS Triple Bypass Camp
June 18-20, 2010
Now in it’s 22nd year, the Triple Bypass is a classic Colorado cycling event. There’s no doubt about it, whether you’re an experienced racer or a new enthusiast, this 120-mile journey over three major mountain passes is a challenge for everyone who rolls across the start line. At Carmichael Training Systems, we know that optimal preparation leads to more fun, faster times, and happier athletes, and we’ve partnered with Team Evergreen to create a training camp experience designed to improve your performance at this year’s Triple.
Nearly every cyclist we work with wants to improve his or her ability to ride uphill, and with three major mountain passes and more than 10,000 total feet of climbing – at altitudes up to nearly 12,000 feet - improving your climbing skills and fitness are key to having a successful Triple Bypass experience. This camp will teach you key techniques that help riders of all sizes and shapes excel when the road tips toward the sky. And since what goes up must come down, we'll also help you develop the confidence and skills you need to descend quickly, safely, and efficiently. CTS Performance Testing Camp
September 18-19, 2010
Optimize your performance on the bike with crucial evaluations of your fitness, nutrition and bike fit. Whether you’re gathering baseline data, coming in to check your progress, or fine-tuning before a big event, you will leave this camp with the data – and more importantly, the analysis and interpretation of that data – to maximize your potential.
Performance labs may be springing up all over the country, but it takes more than sophisticated equipment to deliver world-class results. At CTS, you’ll be tested and evaluated by the same people who test our pros and Olympians. And since data without interpretation is just numbers on a piece of paper, we’ll do much more than just hand you a folder with your test results. Our coaches will walk you through your results in detail, provide context as to how those numbers relate to real-world performance, and how to apply your results to training.
On the last day of the camp, we will put this data together and take you out on the roads, where it matters the most. You will leave camp with a more complete picture of your capabilities, fitness and what you need to work on next. For more information visit www.trainright.com/camps.asp?uid=4438. To register contact Camp Manager at camps@trainright.com or call 1-866-355-0645.
