April 21, 2009 (Boulder, CO) – “I am pretty blown away at how far we've come since November,” said Mike Ricci, who took the helm as head coach for the University of Colorado Triathlon Team at the end of 2008.  Ricci was reflecting back on the past six months of work the team did in preparation for the USAT Collegiate National Championships held last weekend in Lubbock, Texas.

Cédric Wane Takes Third in Men’s Race

April 18, 2009 (Lubbock, TX) – Athletes battled chilly early conditions and a challenging bike course at Buffalo Springs Lake during this year’s USAT Collegiate National Championships. A cool start to the day (a brisk 38 degrees when athletes were checking their bikes into the transition area before the sun came up) gave way to sunny skies and dry, warm air with temps rising into the low 70s.

Wane, Walker Claim Victories

March 21, 2009 (Lake Havasu City, AZ) – En route to the upcoming Collegiate National Championships in Lubbock, Texas, a strong CU squad used their spring break to hone their racing skills. The team made a clean sweep of the Collegiate Mountain Conference Championships at Lake Havasu, winning the men and women’s individual titles, the men and women’s team titles, and the combined team title.
